Property and Grounds St. Mark's on the Hill is blessed to have inherited 2 1/2 acres of land in the hustle and bustle of historic Pikesville. Over the years, the businesses have grown up around the church and our sacred space has remained a haven of peace and quiet amongst the bustle of activity on Reisterstown Rd.
Our property is tended by the members of our church. We do not have a sexton or grounds keeper on our staff, so the labor and inspiration must come from our church community. This is both fulfilling and exhausting depending on the season.
Our Junior Warden, Jim Rea, and his property committee oversee the maintenance and improvements that we undertake on our campus. Look for invitations to come and help out with parish yard days and other group efforts to keep up our buildings... OR BETTER YET, if you see something that you want to do - contact Jim and take matters into your own hands! |
